Ken Chan, Rita Daniela share how new movie 'My First and Always' was filmed amid pandemic


Making "My First and Always" wasn't easy, but it sure does look like a once-in-a-lifetime moment for Kapuso actors Ken Chan and Rita Daniela.

It was filmed in Pagsanjan, Laguna amid the COVID-19 pandemic, after all.

Ken and Rita gave their followers a glimpse into what awaits them in their new film "My First and Always" as they shared numerous scenes on set with their crew and co-stars on Instagram.

According to Ken, they went through a lot to make the movie. Everybody had to take the swab test, while members of the Department of Health and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases were present every shooting day for safety precautions.

After thanking the production company, director Louie Ignacio, and all the crew for making the film possible, and their crew safe amid COVID-19, Ken turned his attention to Rita.

"At sa aking Choy' @missritadaniela, isa lang masasabi ko, napakahusay mong aktres! Salamat din sa pagaalaga mo sa akin ah...mahal kita alam mo yan!" Ken wrote.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Maraming proseso ang pinagdaanan para sa pelikula namin ang “My First and Always”. Dumaan sa SWAB test ang lahat ng aming cast & crew. Sa bawat shooting days naman may mga nakabantay na DOH at IATF para sa kaligtasan ng lahat. Sobrang blessed kami dahil sa Heaven's Best Entertainment @hbeproduction Sa kalagitnaan ng pandemya ay nakagawa kami ng isang kalidad na pelikula. Sa aming mga boss Ms. @harlenebau , Sir @hero_clarence_bautista and Sir @herbertbautista maraming-maraming salamat sa oportunidad at tiwala na binigay niyo sa aming lahat. Maraming po kayong natulungan at nabigyan ng pag-asa dito sa ating industriya. Sa aming direktor na si Direk @direklouieignacio , ang “mood setter” ng buong grupo! hehe Maraming salamat sa kabutihan ng puso mo. Sa pag-aalaga mo sa amin ni Rita at sa buong production. Hangang-hanga ang lahat sa kahusayan mo Direk. Mahal ka naming lahat! Evangelista). Sa aking personal Makeup Artist Nanay @only_pomposa , Juancho Gabriel at sa aking tagapangalaga hehe kay Kuya Arman SeDukis Morales miss ko na kayong lahat! In a string of Instagram posts meanwhile, Rita also took the time to express her gratitude to everyone she worked with on set.

"Sepanx is real! I've been with these amazing people for eight days and I miss them so much," she began. "Thank you so much po for the trust and love. I wish I could work with all of you again."

 

 

In a separate post, she sent a personal thank you to Ken, saying, "Sa napakahusay na aktor na kilala ko, mapagkumbaba, maalaga at mapagmahal..salamat sayo. I’m so happy that I’m sharing this victory with you. Thank you for taking care of me. Luis ko, gwapo, miss na miss na kita."
