Alden Richards nominated best actor for 'Hello, Love, Goodbye' at Gawad Urian

Alden Richards has been nominated for his role in hit film "Hello, Love, Goodbye" at this year's Gawad Urian.

The awards body announced the full list of nominees on Thursday.

Alden's onscreen partner in the movie, Kathryn Bernardo, was nominated as best actress. Their co-star Maricel Laxa was meanwhile nominated as best supporting actress.

Cathy Garcia-Molina's "Hello, Love, Goodbye" (2019) is currently the highest grossing Philippine movie of all time, having grossed at P880,603,490 in the box office.

The film follows overseas Filipino workers Joy Fabregas (Kathryn), a domestic helper, and Ethan Del Rosario (Alden), a bartender, as they fall in love and face harsh realities in Hong Kong. —JCB, GMA News
