Aljur Abrenica admits he also fell in love with Kris Bernal: 'Mas nauna ko siyang nagustuhan'

Days after Kris Bernal admitted she fell in love with her former love team, Aljur Abrenica confessed that he also fell for her back in the day.

In a video on their YouTube channel, Aljur and his wife Kylie Padilla played the game "Jojowain o Totropahin."

When Kris' name popped up, the actor spilled the beans on his past feelings but he said he would rather choose her to be his friend rather than a love interest.

"Para ano, alam ninyo. Hindi lang kami nagkaabot. Mas nauna ko siyang nagustuhan. Then, dumating 'yung time na siya na 'yung nagkagusto sa akin," Aljur said.

"Nag-move forward kami. Tapos nagkaroon kami ng ibang klaseng friendship, grabe!" he added.

Aljur said building a strong friendship with Kris is a blessing in disguise for their onscreen work.

"Kesa sa nagkaroon ng serious relationship, kasi it could have been, di ba, baka masira sa set, di ba, pag nag-away ka," he said.

Kylie went on and asked her husband if there was a possibility for him and Kris to be in a relationship if they were given good timing.

"Oo, baka pwede nung time na 'yun. Possibility na maging jowain," he said.

In a Mukbang vlog, Kris said Aljur had a girlfriend when she had feelings for him and she was not the type who meddles with relationships.
