Alessandra de Rossi excited to be a 'tita' to Assunta's baby

Alessandra de Rossi is ready to fulfill her latest role to date: an aunt to the soon-to-be-born child of her older sister Assunta.

In Lhar Santiago's report for "24 Oras," the actress shared how her family is preparing for the arrival of their newest member. 

"Sobrang excited kami as in 'yung mommy ko sa Italy namimili na ng mga baby clothes," she said. "Ang bilis ng mga pangyayari, 'yung ganun."

"Pero nandun na rin ako sa, kapag nanganak siya I think I have to be there," she added.

Assunta is entering the third trimester of her pregnancy. She seems to be having a daughter, judging from her baby's nickname: coccolina, or Italian for "the cuddly one."

The 37-year-old actress announced her pregnancy in May. She considers  her child a "miracle baby" because she was able to conceive despite having myoma and endometriosis. —MGP, GMA News
