Sofia Pablo as the next Dyesebel? It's a yes for netizens

It seems like netizens found the successor to Marian Rivera's Dyesebel.

On Instagram, Sofia Pablo looked every bit like a charming mermaid after sharing photos of her with a DIY tail using a knitted blanket.

The Kapuso actress wrote "Expectations vs. Reality" in the caption so she seemed to be simply having fun, but it soon blew up as the hashtag #SOFIAistheNextDYESEBEL trended on Twitter.

"S'yempre sobrang saya ko po na 'yung childhood dream ko na role is nakikita po ng tao 'yun sa akin," she said in Aubrey Carampel's report for "24 Oras."

"Masarap po pakinggan pag galing po sa ibang tao," she added.

Sofia was also already into swimming even as a child and even enrolled into a mermaid swimming school.

So, is she up for the challenge to follow her idol's footsteps and get into the role?
