Sunshine, Jackie, Ruffa, Vina, and Karla threw a fun despedida party for Donita Rose
Before Metro Manila was reverted back to MECQ, some of our favorite celebrities from the '90s came together for a despedida party for Donita Rose, who is leaving to start a new life in the US.
Sunshine Cruz, Ruffa Gutierrez, Karla Estrada, Jackie Forster and her kids assembled in Vina Morales' house to bid their friend Donita goodbye. There was some cocktails by and in the pool, karaoke session, and the requisite COVID-19 testing and social distancing for everybody's protection.
On Instagram, Sunshine shared the party took place before Metro Manila was put back on MECQ. "We will miss you Dee. We love you!" Shine said, posting photos from the pool.
Posting a video clip of their too-fun karaoke session, Jackie Forster said it was "the only time Ruffa isn’t poised."
"Friends forever through thick or thin," she said, before proclaiming her love for her gal pals.
Vina's post was the most detailed, sharing how it took place before MECQ, how they all tested negative for COVID-19, and how it took her hours to create a special video edit just for dear Donita.
Tagging Ruffa, Karla, Sunshine and Jackie, Vina revealed how they'd "been planning for this day but di lagi natutuloy."
"We love you Dee," she added.
Posting about an earlier farewell dinner for Donita, Ruffa said the former MTV VJ "will wisely start a new life in America."
"We will miss you girllll! No depressing goodbyes though...just see you again super soon!" Ruffa added.
Wishing the best of luck to Donita, but with such friendships, it's clear she's already a very lucky person. — LA, GMA News
