Geneva Cruz's birthday greeting to Jeffrey Hidalgo is a major throwback

Jeffrey Hidalgo turns another year older and his Smokey Mountain bandmate, Geneva Cruz, is here for it.

On Instagram, Geneva greeted Jeffrey with quite a major throwback. Her post contains a series of photos and videos that will definitely bring you back to the '80s.

"Happy Birthday to one of my childhood partners in crime," Geneva began her greeting. She says she doesn't remember a lot of what they've been through, but the singer was sure "that I had fun and have always felt loved and appreciated by you."

"Love you, brother! Can’t wait to see you in person and to finally get to hug you when the quarantine is over. Hopefully in the near future," Geneva said.

There was footage of the two of them from 1989 signing what appears to be a guestbook, a duet performance from 1998, and a couple of online performances from this year.

It ended with a clip of an old interview from where Jeffrey was saying something about "doing ordinary things that an ordinary kid does."
