Baby girl for Assunta de Rossi? Mom-to-be calls her little one 'coccolina'
Assunta de Rossi looks like she is having a baby girl after calling her little one "coccolina" on Instagram.
The mom-to-be posted a snapshot from her congenital anomaly scan and updated her followers on her pregnancy.
"Still less than 2 weeks before I enter my 3rd trimester. Hang in there, coccolina (Italian for 'the cuddly one')!" Assunta wrote in the caption.
In an earlier post, she wrote that she didn't know yet if she's having a "coccolino or a coccolina."
Her latest post, however, seems to confirm that she is having a girl. She also referred to her baby with the pronoun "her" and revealed her nickname.
"For now, I'm gonna call her by her nickname, Fiore (Italian for flower)," Assunta said.
She said she couldn't be more grateful that "everything's good and normal and I pray it stays that way."
The 37-year-old actress considered her child a "miracle baby," because she was able to conceive despite having myoma and endometriosis.
Assunta's pregnancy came after 16 years of marriage with Jules Ledesma.
She previously said that she was ready to become a mom, and was undergoing treatment to conceive. —Jannielyn Bigtas/MGP, GMA News
