Matt Evans arrested for alleged physical violence charges

Actor Matt Evans was arrested on Friday, July 31 from his home in Sampaloc, Manila for alleged physical violence charges.

According to the Manila Police District report, Evans violated Republic Act 9262 or Anti- Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004.

The MPD report indicated that the bail recommended for temporary liberty in the Evans case is fixed at P36,000.

Information of the complainant was not indicated in the MPD report.

Evans was arrested for the same violation in Pasig City in October 2012.

In 2018, Matt married businesswoman Riza Katrina Evans, who was arrested for estafa in 2019. — LA, GMA News
