Catriona Gray's lawyer slams 'fake' topless photo of beauty queen: 'A vicious attempt to tarnish her good name'
Catriona Gray's lawyer denounced the circulation of a fake topless photo of the beauty queen.
In a statement posted by Cornerstone Entertainment on Instagram Sunday, Atty. Joji Alonso said they are "actively coordinating with authorities to hold accountable whoever is behind this scheme and face penal sanctions accordingly."
"We will likewise take legal action against those involved in the manufacture and publication of said photo," the statement added.
According to the statement, a topless photo of Miss Universe 2018 has been circulating online, with an unnamed tabloid said to be releasing it.
"We want to inform the public that the photo is fake and digitally altered," the statement read.
"We strongly denounce this vicious attempt to tarnish the good name of Ms. Gray," it continued.

Catriona hasn't commented on the issue, instead releasing a video of a stripped down performance of "We're in this Together" featuring Sam Milby.
