Japanese actor Haruma Miura passes away at 30
Japanese actor Haruma Miura has passed away. He was 30 years old.
According to Japan Times, he was found unresponsive in his home in Tokyo on Saturday afternoon.
Police believe he died by suicide, news reports said.
He was pronounced dead when rushed to the hospital.
Miura kicked off his acting career as a child actor, and went on to star in films including 2010 hit film "Kimi ni Todoke," and the 2015 live action movie of "Attack on Titan."
He also starred in television dramas such as "Bloody Monday," "Last Cinderella" and "Gokusen."
He won the Haruko Sugimura Award in the Yomiuri Engeki for his work in the 2017 Japanese adaptation of Broadway musical "Kinky Boots," where he played the role of a drag queen.
