Mon Confiado reveals stills from his upcoming Korean movie
Mon Confiado revealed photos of scenes from his upcoming Korean action adventure crime film titled "The Golden Holiday."
The Filipino actor posted some stills from the film on his Instagram account. In one of them, he was seen wearing a Philippine police uniform.
Mon said the movie starts when "the first family trip to the Philippines turns into an investigation of local murder case surrounding the 'Yamashita’s Gold'."
"A laid-back countryside detective Byung-su (Kwak Do-won) takes his family to the Philippines for his 10th wedding anniversary," he added.
But the Korean detective had a hidden agenda, Mon narrated. He wanted to "track down his old friend Yong-bae (Kim Sang-ho) who scammed him and got away a few years ago."
Then the detective finds Yong-bae in prison for murder, and hears about the case surrounding ‘Yamashita’s Gold’.
"Swayed by a share of the Gold that Yong-bae offers, Byung-su suddenly becomes embroiled in the case," Mon wrote describing the film.
According to Mon, the movie will be released in 2020. He hasn't specified the month nor the day. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
