Boy or girl? Iya Villania and Drew Arellano keep baby's gender a surprise until birth
Iya Villania is due to give birth very soon, so everyone is curious: what's the baby going to be, girl or boy?
The "Chika Minute" host addressed the burning question on Friday after her "24 Oras" family sent her off with tribute messages from her friends, husband Drew Arellano, and sons Primo and Leon.
"I feel it's a baby, tao naman siya," she quipped at first, but eventually answered. "I'm preparing for another boy, feeling ko talaga it's another boy."
Iya announced her pregnancy on their family vlog "Life with the Arellanos" in January, showing exactly the moment she told Drew and her family the news.
Unlike many other parents, however, Iya and Drew didn't hold a gender reveal party for their third baby.
Drew seems to be hoping for a girl. In their message for Iya, he asked Primo: "Can't wait for your sister?" But quickly added: "Brother?"
"Unang Hirit" host Suzi Entrata-Abrera also wished that the couple will have a baby girl this time.
Iya, meanwhile, is praying for a safe delivery and a healthy baby more than anything.
"I'm really hoping na sana normal ulit 'yung delivery pero may mga bagay na hindi natin kontrolado pag nasa delivery room na di ba," she said. "Bahala na si Lord."
