Alden Richards stars in new DOH campaign against COVID-19

Alden Richards is the latest ambassador for the new Department of Health (DOH) campaign against the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a tweet on Wednesday, DOH released videos of the “BIDA Solusyon” campaign where Alden could be seen encouraging the public to follow safety precautions.

The actor said people should simply follow the BIDA acronym: Bawal walang mask, I-sanitize mga kamay, Dumistansya ng isang metro, Alamin ang totoong impormasyon.

“Together let us be the #BIDAsolusyon sa COVID-19,” Alden said.

As of Wednesday, there are over 50,359 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country, with 1,314 deaths and 12,588 recoveries. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
