Willie Revillame gives financial help to Super Tekla for newborn baby’s surgery

Willie Revillame has offered financial help to Super Tekla for his newborn son, Angelo, who needed surgery.

According to Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras” Tuesday, Kuya Willie invited Super Tekla, a former host of “Wowowin,” to the show and offered him aid.

“Andito ako para tulungan ka. Wag kang mag-alala tutulungan kita,” Willie told Tekla.

Super Tekla broke down in tears when he started explaining his situation.

“’Yung time na walang-wala ka na magagawa. You have to surrender everything ... Sino ang makakatulong sa akin?” he said.

“Andito naman kami, hindi naman din pera lang, prayers, ’yung mga tao na kasama mo dati, when you’re down,” was Willie’s reply.

Super Tekla’s son was born with anorectal malformation, a birth defect where the anal opening did not develop properly.

Apart from Kuya Willie, several other celebrities extended their support to Super Tekla.

Kapuso artists Ken Chan, Glaiza de Catro, Julie Ann San Jose, and more came together to hold an online benefit concert on Tuesday to raise funds for Baby Angelo’s surgery. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
