Wowie de Guzman is now a full-time zumba instructor

Wowie de Guzman is now a full-time Zumba instructor!

According to Cata Tibayan's report for "24 Oras," the former member of the Universal Motion Dancers (UMD) has been offering his services in many events held in and out of the country.

With the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, however, Wowie had to improvise and decided to move his sessions online.

The 90s matinee idol said the group also became a support system of sorts amid the community quarantine.

"Palagi silang nagme-mesage ng mga very inspirational na mga mensahe," he said. "Pag sinabi nila na kumbaga, 'Natutulungan n'yo kami, kahit papaano nawawala 'yung inip namin,' so napakalaking bagay nun."

Wowie said the quarantine also gave him time to bond with his six-year-old daughter Raff.

"Tine-treasure ko 'yung moment na clingy pa siya sa akin," he said.

He was also able to devote some time to learn some skills online.

"Reset button din siya because ang dami kong natutunan," he said. —MGP, GMA News
