Derrick Monasterio launches haircut home service to help displaced barbers
Actor Derrick Monasterio, with the help of his friends, has launched a home service company offering haircuts to help displaced barbers earn a living amid the coronavirus virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
In Cata Tibayan’s report on “24 Oras” Friday, Derrick shared that with the help of his friends, he was able to launch his new company “Quaran-clean PH,” which employed displaced barbers.
According to Derrick, the business idea came to his mind after talking to his neighbor who worked as a barber and lost his job amid the lockdown.
“Win-win situation for the both of us. Nabigyan namin siya ng work tapos natutulungan namin mga taong hindi makalabas,” the actor said.
The actor assured the public that his company always sanitized their equipment and all their barbers had undergone tests to make sure none are carriers of COVID-19.
“Priority namin ngayon mapa-feel na safe kami, na we are disease-free,” he said.
