‘Eat Bulaga’ sets up ‘body shields’ on stage for ‘Bawal Judgmental’ segment
As “Eat Bulaga” resumes its live broadcast, it made sure to operate with strict safety precautions.
During its “Bawal Judgmental” portion on Thursday, the show set up life-sized body shields on stage for the contestants.
According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” the “giant” face shields looked like booths meant to create barriers between the contestants and impose social distancing.
“Nilinis ’yan. Pag linis na pag linis niyan, nilagyan ng alcohol, kompleto,” host Jose Manalo said.
For the show’s first broadcast after being closed for 85 days due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Teri Onor was the celebrity guest for the “Bawal Judgmental” segment.
The contestants were couples who managed to get married during the quarantine period, including the newlyweds who were married on the spot by a mayor in Cavite.
As Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, and Jose Manalo hosted on stage with Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards, Vic Sotto joined them from the safety of his home with the help of wife Pauleen Luna. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
