Portrait of Carla Abellana up for auction to raise funds for dog shelter
A portrait featuring Carla Abellana is being auctioned to raise funds for a dog shelter.
The Kapuso actress posted the artwork on her Instagram account on Monday, sharing that the piece was created by street artist muralist Venazir Martinez.
Titled "Two-Point Perspective," the artwork showed an image of Carla surrounded by dogs.
The proceeds will be for the benefit of the Pawssion Project and frontliners. Bidding is until Sunday, June 7.
"We are designed to wonder and oversee the possible future. However, we tend to harshly grate over the beauty of being submersed in present time," read the artist's description of the piece.
"Dogs are present souls, they sleep, eat, poop, and the cycle goes on. But they are adapted to love unconditionally," she added.
"Simultaneously, their lives are delineated by our own growth. Two points of perspectives that crosses beyond borders of human and dog psyche." --Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
