Running Man postpones Philippine fan meet to December due to COVID-19 pandemic
There was a Running Man fan meet in the Philippines scheduled in June but because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, it has been postponed to December.
"All Running Man members have been looking forward to seeing our fans. But unfortunately, the event has been rescheduled to December 6th 2020," Running Man wrote in their announcement post on Instagram.
The team is hoping that all countries have "flattened the curve of COVID-19 and become safer by this time."
They said their "top priority is the health and safety of all, we ask for your kind understanding and patience. In the meantime, we promise to do our best every moment in return for you love."
South Korean TV Network SBS signed a contract with GMA Network in February for the co-production of Running Man Philippines.
It is set to air in 2021. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
