Bianca Umali to late parents: 'Missing you both more every second of every single day'

May 8 is no ordinary day for Bianca Umali.

In an Instagram post on Friday, the Kapuso actress took the time to honor both her parents who shared the same important date, one for birth and the other for death.

Her mother, she shared, was supposed to celebrate her 59th birthday on Friday, while her father also marked the 10th year since he passed away.

"A day both my guardian angels share, one for birth and the other for death," she wrote.

time flies. Every year, May 8th, for me, comes and goes, happily and painfully. A day both my guardian angels share, one for birth and the other for death. Today is my mommy's 59th birthday, marking my daddy's 10th year up in heaven with her. I don't share often. But today, today feels different and so I just wanted to say... Life is just so short and unpredictable. Life, is not the way it's supposed to be... it's the way it is... the way we cope with it, is what makes the difference. Life is short, time is fast, no replay, no rewind, so make the most out of every moment as it comes. 3 things I have learned and live by : - be kind. - appreciate the simple things in life. - say "i love you" while you can. my angels, Mommy, happy birthday. I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me... but there are no words to describe how much I admire you, how much I appreciate you, how much I thank you... for everything. I will never have enough time here on earth to repay all the the love you have poured into me. I love you. Daddy, this long... already? For all those times I left it unsaid. Thank you. For being both a mother and a father. For being there for me, for showing the way, for being patient with me even when I made it difficult for you, for believing in me and encouraging me to dream, and being such an inspiring presence in my life. Bianca wished her mom a happy birthday and said that she "will never have enough time here on earth to repay all the love you have poured into me. I love you."

She added, "Daddy, this long... already?"

The actress thanked her father for always being there for her, for believing in her and encouraging her to dream.

"I'm a proud 'buntot ng daddy', a daddy's girl. I love you," Bianca shared.

Bianca couldn't help but express how much she missed both of her parents "more every second of every single day."

"Everything I am is for and because of you," Bianca said. "Until we meet again."

Bianca's mom passed away due to breast cancer when the actress was just five years old. Just after five years, Bianca lost her father to a heart attack.

In an interview with Jessica Soho back in 2018, Bianca revealed that beaing orphaned at an early age "wasn't easy and it will never be easy until today. Masakit po siya and I will forever be incomplete."
