Comedian Babajie passes away at 35

Babajie has passed away at 35.

The comedian, who is Alfredo Cornejo Jr. in real life, died due to tuberculosis and malnutrition on May 4, according to his mother.

She said she has been ill for over a week.

Known for her long chin, Babajie made a splash in social media when she posted photos with her Italian bae Ciro Tarallo.

The pair was featured in an episode of "Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho," where they clarified that they were just friends.

Ciro meanwhile mourned the passing of his friend.

In a Facebook post, he wrote, "Goodbye is not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you. Until we meet again."
