Regine Tolentino reveals baby Rosie had pneumonia right after birth

Regine Tolentino happily shared the arrival of her youngest daughter a few weeks ago.

Baby Rosie is a "miracle" for Regine, who gave birth via caesarian section at 41 years old.

But the actress and dancer later revealed that she had a difficult time right after bringing Rosie into the world.

"When I gave birth, Rosie had pneumonia and she had a fever of 39.9 and rising actually when they took her away," she said in Cata Tibayan's report for "24 Oras."

"So it was a very chaotic stressful time and sobra akong umiiyak and I felt that my postpartum actually started right that moment," she said.

Fortunately, Baby Rosie recovered and went home to meet her older sisters.

Regine said she actually found out that she was pregnant with Rosie when she was already more than five months along.

"I was super surprised because I'm actually irregular, and at the time I was just all over the place travelling, I was dancing, working out," she said. "So when we found out, it was the greatest blessing." —MGP, GMA News
