Kitchie, Barbie and Aia to hold digital concert to raise funds for workers of live music venues affected by COVID-19 threat
Kitchie Nadal, Barbie Almalbis and Aia de Leon will be holding a digital live concert to raise funds for employees and workers of live music venues whose jobs are affected by the enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19.
The three artists will be collaborating with GNN and Smirnoff Mule for the concert happening on May 1, Friday at 8pm on their official Facebook page.
"Secrets III: An Online Concert featuring Aia, Barbie and Kitchie" will also serve as the third installment of their sold-out concert called, well, "Secrets."
“Deprived of operating to serve people with live entertainment, music venues have temporarily shut down, and are struggling to manage their overhead expenses,” GNN Productions’ and one of Secrets III executive producer Milley Habito said in a statement.
GNN thanked Aia, Barbie and Kitchie for supporting the music community especially those who have dedicated their lives to make venues vibrant: waiters, cooks, kitchen helpers, cashiers, parking attendants, food servers, tech guys, security personnel, among others.
According to the statement some of the confirmed beneficiaries of the online concert include Route 196, Mow’s, Saguijo Café & Bar, Jess and Pat’s, ‘70s Bistro, 123 Block, Social House and more to be announced.
The three award-winning female OPM artists will feature never-before-heard collaborations and individual performances of their hit singles.
