Chris Hemsworth will have a new movie on Netflix this April 24, and here's the first look
Here’s something thrilling to add to your quarantine watchlist: Chris Hemsworth has a new action movie coming to Netflix on April 24, and it’s called “Extraction.”
The Australian actor, who we all loved as Thor in Marvel’s “Avengers,” is playing a fearless black market mercenary who takes on a deadly mission: To rescue the kidnapped son of an international crime lord.
Netflix also released the official movie stills, where we see a cape-less and short-haired Chris Hemsworth who broods along a street in some sunglasses and a t-shirt.
His co-stars Rudhraksh Jaiswal and David Harbor (Stranger Things) also make their appearance in the first-look photos.
“Extraction,” directed by Sam Hargraves — the stunt coordinator for “Avengers: Endgame” and “Deadpool 2” — is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, who also brought us "Endgame."
The action-packed, edge-of-your-seat film already has us chewing our nails in the trailer:
