Arnold Clavio gathers celebrities in saluting the COVID-19 frontliners

On social media Sunday, Arnold Clavio posted self-initiated videos, featuring his celebrity friends in saluting our frontliners braving the COVID-19 pandemic. 

In the first video, the Kapuso journalist rallied his Kapuso friends to say a special message of gratitude on video, collated them all, edited it into a 2:52-minute video. Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes, Derek Ramsay, Lovi Poe, Rocco Nacino, Gabby Concepcion, Archie Alemania, Tom Rodriguez and John Estrada honored the brave frontliners and called for everybody to stay home.  

The second video, featuring singers and musicians like Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Randy Santiago, Noel Cabangon, Aicelle Santos, Mark Bautista, Janno Gibbs, Juancho Trivino and Joyce Pring this time, also called for the same.

“Hindi ako ang idol,” they all began, before naming who the real idols were: the health workers, our soldiers and police officers, supermarket workers and our delivery guys, bank employees, security guards, janitors and garbage collectors, our farmers, and journalists who are keeping us safe and making sure we get our food and basic needs.

“Iligtas natin ang buhay nila para sila naman ang makapagligtas ng buhay,” they continued.

“Manatili tayo sa ating mga bahay. At salamat. Malalagpasan natin ito,” Clavio said in the end.
