Stuck at home, Megan Young and Mikael Daez decided to make numerous face shields for the frontliners fighting against the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The two can be seen busy creating DIY masks with the help of the actor's brothers, as seen on the couple's Instagram stories on Wednesday.
Sharing photos of the product of their hard labor ready to be distributed, Mikael wrote, "Made some face shields for our frontliners. Hoping it helps even just a little bit."

In another post, the Miss World 2013 titleholder can be seen trying out the face shield. She shared, "Testing it out! Don't worry, these will be sanitized before they will be handed out. #HelpingFromHome."
Megan, in an earlier post last week, revealed that she and Mikael have been living together with Mikael's three other siblings since they got married.
The Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine, set to end on April 13, has imposed strict home quarantine and suspension of public transportation to help curb the spread of the disease.
As of Wednesday, the Philippines has 2,311 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 96 deaths and 50 recoveries. --Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
