Alden Richards donates food to COVID-19 frontliners in Biñan City, Laguna
Alden Richards donated food to the frontliners in Biñan City, Laguna, who continue to fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The Kapuso actor, who owns a McDonald's branch in the city, gave out a box full of the restaurant's goodies, as seen on Biñan City Mayor Len Alonte's Instagram account.
"Thank you so much, bro @aldenrichards02 & family for your donation for all the frontliners sent through our family. God bless you and your family more," Alonte wrote in an Instagram story.
She added, "We love Mcdonald's Biñan!!! We love you, Alden!"
Raised all his life in Laguna, Alden has not kept it a secret how much he loved his hometown, where he currently owns a property.
Just on Sunday, the province of Laguna confirmed its first case of COVID-19, in the city of Santa Rosa.
The entire Luzon has been placed under enhanced community quarantine until April 13 as part of the government's effort to curb the spread of the virus.
The Philippines, under a state of calamity since Monday, has 217 confirmed cases and 17 deaths due to COVID-19, according to the Department of Health.
