'Kambal, Karibal' is back on GMA Primetime
The acclaimed series "Kambal, Karibal" is returning to GMA primetime.
Viewers can relive the hit suspense-drama between warring siblings Criselda and Crisanta starting Wednesday, March 18 at 8:35 pm.
The series will temporarily replace "Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday" after GMA-7 suspended the tapings of entertainment programs in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
"Kambal, Karibal" starred Bianca Umali as Crisanta, Pauline Mendoza as Criselda, Kyline Alcantara as Cheska, and Miguel Tanfelix as Diego.
The TV drama served as a breakthrough series for Bianca and a debut for Kyline.
In January 2018, the series landed on top of the nationwide TV ratings, according to AGB Nielsen.
GMA-7 will also be airing other popular series such as "Encantadia," which will begin showing on primetime airwaves again starting March 19, Thursday, temporarily replacing "Descendants of the Sun."
"Ika-6 Na Utos" will temporarily replace GMA Afternoon Prime shows “Magkaagaw,” “Prima Donnas” and “Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit.”
Meanwhile, the pioneering show "My Husband's Lover" will air on March 23, Monday, in lieu of "Love of My Life." --Angelica Y. Yang/MGP, GMA News
