On Instagram Saturday, March 14, Claudine posted an old photo of the two of them, and said "know that you are still loved and remembered."

Rico Yan would've been 45 years old this year.

The matinee idol passed away in 2002 due to "acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis" while on vacation in Dos Palmas Island Resort, Palawan.

In a January 2018 episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, Claudine admitted she was diagnosed with panic disorder in 2002 — the same year that Rico died — the result of stress from work and the death of her boyfriend. She added she never really got over the death of Rico. — LA, GMA News
