Jasmine Curtis Smith: I've become Cpt. Moira even in my sleep

Jasmine Curtis Smith has taken her immersion to her character on Descendants of the Sun to another level.

During her press conference with Rocco Nacino on Thursday, Jasmine shared how she was still in character even when in her sleep.

"One time nagising ako saying 'Yes sir! Yes sir!'" said Jasmine, who plays military doctor Cpt. Moira Defensor in the Philippine adaptation of the series. "So parang nadadala ko na minsan 'yung dialogue at home 'pag puyat at 'pag antok na antok na."

It's an experience shared by Rocco, a Petty Officer 3rd Class with the Philippine Navy reserves, who says his outlook has been changed by his character, TSg. Diego.

"Talagang nagbago pananaw ko sa buhay," Rocco said.

He realized that like his character, he's been sitting up straight while eating and even replies with "Copy that!" to people.

The primetime series "Descendants of the Sun" also stars Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercado.

The Korean original, which became a big hit when it aired in the Philippines back in 2016, starred Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Kim Ji-won and Jin Goo. —JST, GMA News
