Alden Richards, Aiai delas Alas honored in NCCA's Ani Ng Dangal Awards
Kapuso stars Alden Richards and AiAi delas Alas visited Malacañang on Wednesday to receive a government recognition for their accomplishments made in the international arena last year.
Alden and Aiai were among the recipients of the Ani Ng Dangal award conferred by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in a ceremony attended by President Rodrigo Duterte.

For this year, the 52 awardees belonged to the fields of architecture and the allied arts, cinema, literary arts, music and visual arts.
According to the NCCA, Alden got the recognition for winning the Asian Star Prize at the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards in South Korea in August last year.
Aiai, meanwhile, bagged the best actress award at the 39th Fantasporto-Oporto International Film Festival in Portugal in March 2019. She shared the international recognition with fellow Ani ng Dangal awardee Ina Raymundo.
The Ani ng Dangal is considered as one of the highlights of the National Arts Month, which is celebrated every February. —Angelica Y. Yang/MGP, GMA News
