Kim Domingo: 'I'm done trying to prove myself'

Kim Domingo has sharp words and some hugot in her latest Instagram post.

The Kapuso actress wrote a lengthy message along with a breathtaking photo of her in a yellow dress backdropped by flowers.

"I'm done trying to prove myself," she said. "I no longer feel the need to impress anyone or go out of my way to explain myself. We're getting a little to old for the stress that comes along with someone not understanding who you are: flawed but a good hearted soul with a lot to offer."

I've decided I am done with temporary people. I don't need a lack of love... I need love and lots of it. I don't need someone who smiles to my face, then talks behind my back. I don't need people who bring me down. Even if I have love for you, I no longer have time for you if you treat me that way. The people who really rock with me, know my intentions are pure. I know some people are not happy with me because I am not so good, but few people surely love me because they know that my little kindness is not fake.

Kim shared that she was tired of explaining herself to "temporary people."

"I don't need someone who smiles to my face, then talks behind my back. I don't need people who bring me down. Even if I have love for you, I no longer have time for you if you treat me that way," she wrote.

The 2017 FHM cover girl noted that some people did not like her because they believed her to be "not so good." She added that those who accepted her for who she was, knew that her intentions were pure.

"But few people surely love me because they know that my little kindness is not fake," the 25-year old actress wrote.

Last month, Kim thanked her fans for respecting and loving her, regardless of the clothes she wore.

Three years ago, she announced that she would appear in less sexy roles because she wanted to become a "real actress."

"Unti unti ko ng tinatanggal ang pagpapasexy, magpapasexy ako pero hindi na kagaya ng dati kong ginagawa. Gusto ko ng makatawid sa pagiging ganap na Aktres," she had said.
