Is this love at first sight for GMA News reporter Darlene Cay?

Did GMA News reporter Darlene Cay experience love at first sight inside the Light Rail Transit Line 1's "love train" during Valentine's Day?

Darlene was doing a live report for "Unang Balita" on February 14 when anchor Ivan Mayrina spontaneously teased her with one of the passengers inside the train.

She reported about this year's love train themes which were inspired by the three stages of love—dating, engagement and marriage.

Darlene then interviewed 23-year-old Brandon Cadamayan and Ivan could not help but feel the chemistry between the two.

Brandon turned out to be single and ready to mingle.

She was about to end her report after the interview when Ivan noticed Brandon staring at Darlene.

"Darlene parang napansin kong iba 'yong titig ni Brandon sa'yo. Parang sumusulyap-sulyap," he said.

Ivan then asked Brandon if he can reveal his face because he was wearing an N95 mask.

"Mukhang magandang lalaki si Brandon, naka-mask lang pero tingnan mo kapag nakatanggal ang mask ay lalabas ang tikas niyan," he said.

After Brandon took off his mask, Darlene had a big smile on her face and seemed like she blushed a little.

Ivan can't help but tease the reporter and said "labas na labas ang dimples mo Darlene ah ramdam ko."

For the fourth straight year, the Light Rail Manila Corporation continued its tradition of celebrating Heart's Day with its customized "love train."

The love train was launched on February 12 and will run until March 12. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/MGP, GMA News
