Dina Bonnevie admits she's not used to fighting on-screen with Snooky Serna

Actress Dina Bonnevie said that she was not used to fighting with Snooky Serna on-screen, during the taping of the upcoming TV adaptation, "Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday."

Dina's character (Sussie) would be Snooky's (Amy's) sworn enemy in the TV series, as they would fight over the same man. Their characters' resentment towards each other would remain for a long time.

Dina, who has worked with Snooky on several movies, said it was the first time that Snooky has taken on fierce and "palaban" roles.

She added that Snooky was always cast as the shy and kind character in movies.

"Ang hirap nga eh, kasi kwentuhan kami ng kwentuhan sa tent. Biglang pagdating sa eksena, magbubugbugan kami...Hindi ako sanay na palaban siya," Dina said, during a media conference on Tuesday evening.

When they were not rivals on-screen, the veteran actress shared that she and Snooky would reminisce the good times they shared.

At the media conference, Snooky also said some good words about her co-star.

"I feel very much at ease with Ms. Dina Bonnevie...Masaya po ang bonding namin. Totoo po. Dina din po si very conversational. She is so sweet," she said.

"Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday" will premiere from January 27 onwards, on weeknights after "24 Oras." — BAP, GMA News
