Surrounded by family and friends, Alex was all smiles as during her birthday celebration.

She posted on Instagram a photo of her with the Batangas councilor, where she could be seen showing off her ring. She captioned, "Thank you for all your birthday greetings! I feel LOVED. Thank you Jesus!"

In her Instagram stories, her best friend Jean Padilla Victorio shared Alex's post with the caption "Finally!" and a sticker of an engagement ring.

Her sister, actress Toni Gonzaga, also congratulated the happy couple on Instagram. She wrote, ""Congratulations @mikee_mo @cathgonzaga."
