Ruru Madrid to star in Public Affairs series inspired by 'Lolong'

Ruru Madrid is set to star in a Public Affairs series inspired by "Lolong," the world's largest crocodile in captivity which died in 2013.

The Kapuso hunk will be joined by Sanya Lopez and Kim Domingo, according to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras."

"Parang medyo action-drama na of course may pagka romance kasi nga of course may mga leading ladies," Ruru said about the series. "Parang medyo kumpleto naman 'to."

Ruru is currently promoting his new single titled "Maghintay" after getting stranded in Cebu due to the Taal Volcano's ashfall.

"Medyo naniniwala ako sa destiny, na talagang kung 'yun 'yung nakatadhana para sa sarili mo, eh talagang mangyayari 'yan," he said about the song, which was described as alternative rock.
