Families of Marjorie, Ruffa come together to celebrate New Year

Marjorie Barretto and her family came together with the Gutierrez clan in Los Angeles, California to ring in the New Year.

Ruffa Gutierrez's #NYE2019 Instagram stories featured her daughters Lorin and Venice, her mom Anabelle Rama, and her brother Richard, who was with his wife Sarah Lahbati and their son Zion.

Ruffa also said hi to Marjorie Barretto, her daughter Julia, and her son Leon.

The event was hosted by Small Laude and was held in Beverly Hills.

Ruffa also posted a separate photo on her IG feed with this caption: "Cheers to the people who love us, the losers who lost us, and the lucky ones who still get to meet us! #thankful #grateful," Ruffa wrote.

In her stories, Ruffa, Marjorie and Julia were heard repeatedly saying "Goodbye, 2019," cheerfully.

The past year saw Marjorie caught in controversy after a scuffle with her sisters Claudine and Gretchen during their father's wake back in October, in the presence of President Rodrigo Duterte.

Ruffa was dragged into the feud when Gretchen scored her for a comment she left on Julia's IG posts, only a few days after the scuffle at the wake.

After Gretchen called her out, Ruffa posted a photo with a caption saying: "The next time they try to put you down, just remember that confidence is silent but insecurities are loud AF.  #HappyLife #HappyGirl #PositiveVibes."

Claudine and Gretchen celebrated Christmas together while Marjorie spent it with her family. —JST, GMA News
