Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano proud of Gary V., her sons for SEA Games closing ceremonies

Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano was one proud wife and mother on Thursday as her sons and husband heavily participated in the incredble closing ceremonies of the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday night.

Paolo Valenciano was at the helm of things as director, her other son Gab composed and arranged the song "Pride," which was played during the colorful drone show; and husband, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano composed and arranged the instrumental song "Victory," which was played in sync with the grand fireworks display.

"Praising God for this — may I be allowed to rejoice with all of you! Just a proud and blessed wife and mama here," Angeli said in a statement.

"Amidst so many challenges (sports, politics), our son Paolo directed the finals of the 30th Southeast Asian Games last night," she added.

"So blessed that my three boys were part of the closing in major ways!!! Gary was in tears watching his song being played as the background music of the fireworks!" Angeli said.

On his Instagram, Paolo posted a photo of the stage lit up during the ceremonies.

"No time to rehearse , no time to setup , no time to line check, no time to program , no time to do anything ... but seeing the athletes and volunteers having fun is all that matters at this point," he wrote in the caption.

Just like the opening ceremonies last November 30, athletes from the different participating countries were treated to an extravaganza.
