GMA stars and shows rack up awards at 11th Comguild Academe's Choice Awards and more

Several Kapuso shows and personalities this month received prestigious awards in the field of film, television, broadcast and advertising.

GMA stars received top prizes from the following award-giving bodies:

11th Comguild Academe's Choice Awards

• Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes & family as "Most Admired Family Endorser"
• Heart Evangelista-Escudero as "Most Admired Social Media Influencer of the Year"
• Michael V. as "Most Admired Comedian"
• Jennylyn Mercado as "Advertisers' Friendly Host" (Female category)
• Sebastian Granfon or "Baeby Baste" as "Most Admired Chlid Endorser" (Hall of Famer)

3rd Diamond Golden Awards

• Derrick Monasterio  as "Most Outstanding Young Male Artist"
• Kyline Alantara as "Most Outstanding Young Female Artist"
• Therese Malvar as "Most Outstanding Young TV-Film Actress"
• Lhar Santiago as "Most Outstanding Entertainment Journalist in the Field of Broadcasting"

Gawad Amerika Awards

• Kris Bernal as "2019 Most Outstanding TV Actress"

Meanwhile, Kapuso news programs also won big at this year's PMAP Makatao Awards for Media Excellence. These include:

• GMA News TV  as "TV Station of the Year"
• State of the Nation with Jessica Soho as "Best News Program"
• I-Witness as "Best TV Public Affairs Program"
