"Unang Hirit" is not only the longest-running morning show in the country — it is also a trusted companion that kept millions of Filipino households both entertained and informed since 1999.
The show's endeared hosts Arnold "Igan" Clavio, Suzi Abrera, Lyn Ching-Pascual, Love Añover, Lhar Santiago, Susan Enriquez, Connie Sison, Ivan Mayrina, Luane Dy, Nathaniel "Mang Tani" Cruz, Mariz Umali and Atty. Gaby Concepcion are all grateful for the trust.
As the program celebrates 20 years of great mornings, the UH barkada officially renewed their contracts with GMA Network on Tuesday.
Present at the signing were GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, GMA News and Public Affairs SVP Marissa Flores, FVP for Public Affairs Nessa Valdellon, AVP for GMA Public Affairs Arlene Carnay, and GMA VP for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angel Javier Cruz.

Can you believe it's been 20 years since UH first aired?
That means the show has been updating viewers with the latest updates and breaking news every morning for two decades.
Not only that, it's also been a source of early-morning good vibes with celebrity performances, food trips, and virtual tours of regional festivities.
Suzi, who's a pioneer of the show, attributed the show's success to the loyal viewers and emphasized they remain true to the Unang Hirit tagline which is "Una ka."
"Ang daming pinagdaanan ng show pero actually 'yung focus lagi is 'yung manonood. Ano ba ang hinahanap nila? Ano ba ang mga gusto nila? Ano ba 'yung ine-expect nilang makita sa umaga? So impormasyon, balita, kasiyahan, pagkain, bagong lugar na puwedeng pagpuntahan, 'yun ang binibigay namin," she said.
Igan, who has also been there since day one, said he's glad that UH has somehow become family to every early riser who watches the show.
"'Yung mga manonoood, tinanggap kami bilang bahagi ng kanilang pamilya. Kasi pag tinignan mo, 20 years, napapanood talaga sa TV di ba? Tuwing umaga 'yon, so paggising mo, pati yung mga bagong silang noong 1999, naging parang personal na 'yung relasyon (namin sa kanila)," the news anchor told reporters at a presscon after the signing.
Gozon, on the other hand, took note of the dedication of the hosts who spent years informing and entertaining the Kapuso viewers.
"''Yan ay institusyon na sa Unang Hirit kaya tayo talaga ay nagagalak na ngayon, hangga't sa nararating pang mga taon, ay mananatili sila sa Unang Hirit," Gozon said.
Duavit added: "Individually they are highly talented and great people, so kung hindi lamang 20 years, baka sa susunod pang 20 taon, nakakasiguro tayo na ang pinakamahusay na barkada sa umaga ay magpapatuloy."
