Korean actor Jang Ki Yong was very excited to come to the Philippines. Here's why

A lot of Pinoy fans couldn't believe they were finally meeting their oppa, "The Liar and His Lover" star Jang Ki Yong, at his first-ever fan meet in Manila yesterday.

But did you know that this was actually the Korean actor and model's second time to visit the Philippines?

During his one-on-one interview with GMA News TV's Aubrey Carampel, Ki Yong said he was excited to return to the Philippines after spending a memorable vacation in the country.

"Nakapunta na ako sa Pilipinas dati for a vacation. Ngayon naman, work-related, para sa fan meeting," Ki Yong said.

"Excited ako na ma-meet ang fans at maramdaman ang kanilang warmth," he added.

Apparently, he had tried lechon manok before and liked it.

According to a report on "24 Oras," the actor was able to meet his supporters up close at the SM Aura Samsung Hall on Sunday.
