Maey Bautista and Anthony Rosaldo renew GMA Artist Center contracts

Kapuso artists Maey Bautista and Anthony Rosaldo renewed their contracts with GMA Artist Center on Thursday afternoon.

Bautista, who was a former segment producer at GMA, said that she was very happy.

"Yieee nakakatuwa. Ang lamig ko!" she exclaimed after signing her contract.

She has been with the GMA Artist Center for three years, and counting.

She also appeared in several TV shows such as My Guitar Princess, Hiram na Anak and Destined to be Yours.

Bautista confirmed on Thursday that she would be part of the upcoming family drama series "Love of My Life."

"Reunion namin ni Carla Abellana kasi ang role ko dito, matalik niya akong kaibigan," Bautista said.

Asked about what other roles she would like to have, Bautista said that she would like to try her hand at being an action star, which was quite different from her usual roles.

Bautista was joined by Clash Season 1 finalist and singer Rosaldo, who had just released the revival single "Maghintay Ka Lamang."

"Sobrang, parang lumulutang ang pakiramdam ko....Sobrang daming possibilities, mga projects na pwede mangyari. Feeling ko, sobrang blessed ko," Rosaldo said, after the contract signing.

Rosaldo's "Maghintay Ka Lamang" was the theme song of the GMA's Koreanovela Sky Castle.

He also hinted at the possible release of a physical album with original songs by next year.

Both Kapuso artists were will be spending five more years working with the network.

Bautista and Rosaldo signed the contract alongside GMA Artist Center senior talent manager Joy Marcelo and GMA Artist Center AVP for talent imaging and marketing Simoun Ferrer. — BM, GMA News
