Dominique explains her absence in grandfather's wake

If you've been following the Barretto family quarrel, you can definitely notice that Dominique Cojuangco, Gretchen Barretto and Tonyboy Cojuangco's daughter was not present during Miguel Barretto's wake.

Last October 19, one of Claudine's followers commented on her cryptic Instagram post and the user mentioned both Gretchen and Dominique, saying "pay some respect to your dad instead of partying."

Dominique, who has been living and working in San Francisco, California, rarely answers back to comments but this user definitely caught her attention.

"You don't know me," she replied to the user.

This was followed by her clarification as to why she was not present at her grandfather's wake.

"I'm in a completely different country with a job," she wrote.

Dominique's mother, Gretchen, was recently involved in a scuffle with her sister Marjorie during the wake of their father, Miguel, last October 16.

Miguel died last October 15 after spending almost two weeks at the hospital. He was laid to rest last October 19.
