Gretchen posts own video vs. Marjorie, takes swipe at sister’s boyfriend
The social media war between Marjorie Barretto on one side and Gretchen and Claudine Barretto on the other continued on Friday afternoon after the eldest of the sisters took to Instagram to post her own video of an altercation at their late father's wake and answer some of Marjorie's claims.
A few hours after Marjorie shared on Instagram that she would soon disclose "the truth" about what really happened at the wake, Gretchen quickly fired back and a video of the shouting. President Rodrigo Duterte, who had been reported to have asked Gretchen and Marjorie to reconcile, was also seen.
Gretchen claimed that the videos aren't fake and was given to her by Marisol Acap, Claudine's long-time assistant.
"It's a bittersweet feeling that you, truly for the first time, speak the truth... I am grateful for we will all wait for that time," Gretchen said in her caption.
Gretchen said that their mother spoke to her and assured her that she would reveal to everyone the facts behind the family feud, their father's birthday and who really caused their father's attack.
She said she was not afraid of Marjorie's threats to sue her.
Without naming names, Gretchen also addressed Marjorie's claims against her "powerful boyfriend."
"And as to my boyfriend who is powerful in a bad way (like you say) , Yes he is powerful (in a good way , not bad as you claimed," Gretchen said.
"Your boyfriend is also powerful & certainly in a very bad way , countless corruption cases I was told, not to mention, numerous molestation cases , Am i correct?" she added.
Gretchen said Claudine would file a molestation case against Marjorie's boyfriend.
"I was informed that @claubarretto will file a molestation case against your powerful boyfriend. Only request of @claubarretto is for him to not be in the wake due to trauma," Gretchen said. —NB, GMA News
