Dennis Padilla has a piece of advice to those who got cheated on

At the press conference of the latest GMA-7 series "Magkaagaw" Dennis Padilla was asked if he had some personal advice for those who've gone through the terrible experienced of getting cheated on.

"Kailangan niyo maging matibay lalo na kapag may mga anak kayo. Kailangan niyo talaga maging matibay," Dennis said speaking to entertainment reporters.

The actor said those who are victims of cheating, especially within a marriage, should always think about their children before anything else.

"Ang una mong iisipin 'yong katayuan ng anak mo bago ang sarili mo, kaya very important talaga na 'yong lakas mo, 'yon ang makikita ng mga anak mo. Kasi hindi ka puwedeng magpakita ng kahinaan," he continued.

Dennis said despite the pain that comes with it, they should show their children that they are unshaken.

"'Yong kahinaan na 'yon baka 'yon pa ang maging problema ng mga anak mo habang lumalaki so 'yon lang 'yong natutunan ko sa buhay," he said. "Malalim, masakit pero you have to be strong 'pag ka nalaglag ka kailangan bumangon ka ulit."

Dennis and Marjorie Baretto got married in 1997 and had three children together, Julia, Claudia and Leon. They separated in 2009. — LA, GMA News
