Five cool things you didn't know about Derek Ramsay
Derek Ramsay is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in showbiz, but even after all those steamy roles and award-winning performances, this dreamy Kapuso hunk is still keeping us interested.
The actor shared some pretty cool stuff about himself in a candid interview on Friday's Unang Hirit.
1. He still does what his dad says
He's a grown man, but Derek clings on to his old man's wise words more than anything.
"My dad always taught me ... if you start something make sure you give it your best, 200 perent, and never give up," he said.
"I've had that attitude in everything I do in life, whether nag-succeed ako or nag-fail ako."
2. He's super approachable
Derek wants to get rid of this notion that he's unapproachable just because he's a celebrity.
"I'm the complete opposite," he promised.
"I'm very approachable, I love to talk, I love to meet new people."
3. He's not hard to please

It doesn't take much to make Derek crack a smile, whether it's a knock-knock joke or just being his dogs.
"I love life. Life makes me smile," he says.
"I wake up and I'm like, okay, it's another day!"
4. His heart belongs to a few special someones
"Who fills my heart? Ang dami, my family, my dogs, my son..." Derek said.
"My strength is my family. I wouldn't be where I am without my family,"
And then, of course, there's his confirmed relationship with the beautiful Andrea Torres. "She has a big place in my heart."
5. He's happy where he is, and the haters can stop
But Derek Ramsay also wants everyone to know: "(I'm) a guy who loves life."
He's also "a guy who respects everyone."
