Maureen Wroblewitz fangirls over Shawn Mendes

Maureen Wroblewitz couldn't contain her happiness when she finally met Shawn Mendes during his concert at Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday night.

On Instagram, the Asia's Next Top Model Season 5 winner shared not only a photo of her with the Canadian singer, but also a video of Shawn putting his arm around her as Maureen drew close for the photo.

She wrote, "Most of you know that I‘ve been a fan of shawn since I was 15 and now I can finally post an unedited photo of us."

She admitted that it was the very first time to attend a concert alone, but she said she had a great time and thanked all of her fans who were so nice to her last night.

She even teasingly tagged her rumored boyfriend, OPM singer JK Labajo, saying "sorry @karloslabajo."

JK Labajo, whose hit song "Buwan" featured Maureen in the music video, playfully replied, "Cute pero mas cute ako. Sorry."

Shawn is famous for his hit songs "Stitches" and "Treat You Better". This is the second time Mendez performed in the Philippines following his concert back in March 2017.

After his Manila stop, the singer will be hitting Macau, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and Argentina for the rest of his world tour. —JST, GMA News
