Sheryl Cruz stuns in first ever sexy magazine cover

At 45, Sheryl Cruz still has surprises up her sleeve.

The former "That's Entertainment" star, known for her demure disposition, featured in her first ever sexy shoot for online magazine AOmnl.com.

Sheryl was sexy and classy in lace as she flaunted her stuff and celebrated being a woman.

Why now?

In an interview with GMA News' Nelson Canlas, Sheryl said that she had a lot of fear when she was younger, including the fear of disappointing her parents.

But she said that she no longer has to ask for anyone's permission, except her 18-year-old daughter Ashley, who was supportive.

"Probably because I wasn't that encouraged enough or I wasn't that confident enough in my own skin. Probably now that I'm more matured and that I don't have to ask permission from anywhere, except for my daughter Ashley," she said.

She also said that she is more empowered now and hopes to show that women can be sexy at any age.
