On what would've been Lito Legaspi's 78th birthday, son Kier shares a touching dedication

The Legaspi family has mostly turned private in their grief, after Lito Legaspi passed away on Sunday, September 8.

On what would've been Lito's 78th birthday Tuesday, September 10, son Kier took to Instagram to share a touching message for his dad.

In a clip from his wedding speech, Kier said he and his father don't always get along. "Pero natutuwa ako dahil kahit hindi tayo nagkakaintindihan, mayroong Diyos na pumapagitna sa atin," he said.

"Dahil kung kaunawaan mo Pa, at kaunawan ko — pareho tayong tao, hindi tayo perfect. Hindi talaga tayo magkakaintindihan," he continued. "Pero kung ang Diyos ang nasa gitna, mangyayari at mangyayari pag pinagkaloob niya."

At this point, Kier earned his father's applause.
